Sinopec Changling Petrochemical set its crude throughput target for June at 620,000 tonnes, with daily throughput down by 4.4% from the previous month, a company source said.

The company lowered the target because of bearish oil product market, the source said.

Located at Yueyang city in central China's Hunan province, Changling Petrochemical has two crude distillation units (CDU) with capacities totalling 11.5m tonnes/year. Its 3.5m tonne/year CDU has been in idleness since it brought on stream an 8m tonne/year one in November 2010.
