The 11th Shanghai International Petrochemical Safety Production and Protection Products Exhibition, concurrent with cippe Shanghai2019, will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center on August 28-30, 2019.

With several trillion RMB annual output, the petrochemical became one of the largest industries in China. However, the major accidents have plagued the development of the petrochemical industry. According to statistics, there were more than 400 accidents in the petrochemical industry nationwide, causing hundreds of casualties and several billion RMB economic losses from 2017 to the first half of 2019.

The Ministry of Emergency Management, PRC paid close attention to the safe production of the petroleum and petrochemical industries and organized experts meetings to discuss the solutions and formulate new standards for many times. Meanwhile, it emphasized that the petrochemical companies must set up the safe and protection system to further promote the safety production environment nationwide.
