China's imports of most petrochemicals showed a downward shift in the preceding month.
 
For instance, the ones of acetone fell by 37 percent from December. They were 57,796 tonnes, down by 30 percent year on year.
 
Benzene imports reached 44,869 tonnes in January. This represents a 12 percent decrease month on month. The figure is 264 percent higher than the one in January of the preceding year.
