China's Daqing Petrochemical shut its 330,000 tonne/year cracker, along with its derivative polyethylene plants, at Heilongjiang province on Tuesday for regular maintenance, a company source said. Included in the 15-day shutdown are the company's 65,000tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) line, three 80,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) lines and 85,000tonne/year LLDPE line at the site, the source said.
Daqing Petrochemical's other cracker in Heilongjiang with a 270,000 tonne/year capacity is currently operating normally, the company source said.
