Sichuan Meifeng said it has signed an LNG technology development and application project joint venture cooperation framework agreement with Sinopec Sichuan natural gas.

Both parties will jointly set up Sichuan Shuangrui Energy in Chengdu. Initial cooperation projects are Langzhong City and Bazhong City LNG projects.

The registered capital of Sichuan Shuangrui Energy is RMB 120 million, Sichuan Meifeng investment will be 61.2 million Yuan, accounting for 51% of the registered capital, while Sinopec Sichuan will invest 58.8 million Yuan, accounting for 49% of the registered capital.

The company's main business will be to produce and sell liquefied natural gas, and other clean energy.
