China's natural gas consumption volume will reach around 230 billion cubic meters by 2015, while the supply capacity will be more than 260 billion cubic meters them, according to a conference of the National Energy Bureau.

Affected by the international financial crisis the global natural gas market has changed, and pricing trends could provide a favourable external environment for China's natural gas industry, Liu Tienan, director of the national energy bureau said. China will increase the supply of resources and accelerate construction of LNG terminals, Liu revealed.
